Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, Southern Atlantic and the Antarctic. Subtropical to Polar.
Diagnosis:  Culmen: 11.11 cm; tarsus: 8.07 cm; wing: 51.83 cm.
Biology:  Total Length: 84 to 89 cm (Ref. 8812). Breeds bienially in July and August on sub-antarctic islands (Ref. 84934). Scavenging; surface seizing; open ocean (Ref. 356).
