Distribution:	Western Atlantic: from Gulf of Mexico, north to southern Newfoundland, and south to Rio dela Plata, Uruguay. Introduced to Europe and South Africa. Questionable in Indo-Pacific. Temperate to tropical.
Diagnosis:
Biology:	Combination depth range: min from literature, max from estimate. Found intertidal (Ref. 110266), in exposed shores (Ref. 125407). Also known from beaches with sandy shores, salth marshes, rocky shores, and under decomposting vegetation (Ref. 138014). Found in the suprelittoral zone, on seagrass leaves (Ref. ).
