Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic: from Brazil to Argentina. Subtropical to temperate.

Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 8. Maximum carapace length: 3.75 cm (male); 5.8 cm (female). Salinity: 33.27 to 33.94 per mille Cl (Ref. 8).
