Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Australia.
Diagnosis:  20 to 25 m wide, 50 to 100 high; exumbrella rough; in each octant six wide, short, rounded velar lappets; each leaf of the three-winged mouth arms with many flat, fern-like expansions; a single very long filament arises from the distal end of one of the mouth arms.
