Up to 60 m wide, usually highly arched, thick and rigid, exumbrella finely granulated; 8 to 12 small velar lappets per octant; total length of mouth-arms about equal to disk diameter, proximal portion about as long as distal 3-winged portion, terminal clubs about one-third of the total length of the arms, triangular in cross section; sub genital papillae represented by a thickened valve on the outer edge of each sub genital pit. |
