Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range - 8 m
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Japan, Hong Kong, Philippines, and Malaysia.
Diagnosis:  Shell is white to creamy white, with greenish brown speckles and streaks. Dorsal-most edge of the longitudinal ribs of central areas characteristically greenish brown or brown, giving the shell a streaked appearance. Girdle is white, with irregularly banded groups of light and dark green scales. Valves subcarinate. Dorsal scales are large and moderately inflated.
Biology:  Depth based on occurrence; to be replaced with a better reference.
