Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: from Gulf of California off Isla Altamura, Sinaloa (Mexico), Guatemala, Gulf of Nicoya (Costa Rica), Panama, Golfo de Guayaquil (Ecuador), Colombia, to Paita (Peru).
