Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 30 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from India and Sri Lanka to the Philippines and Papua New Guinea; north to Taiwan Province of China and south to Queensland.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is found in littoral and sublittoral areas, on sand and muddy bottoms (Ref. 348) of intertidal flats (Ref. 128042).
