Max. size:  18 cm CW (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from Tamil Nadu, India, Kimberley, Australia, north to Chinese Taipei, and east to Papua, Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Carapace brownish to brownish green in color (sometimes orangish), palm orange to yellow.
Biology:  Most common species of Scylla in markets in Sundaic Southeast Asia and Thailand.
