Environment:  benthic; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: from Sierra Leone to Angola.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum carapace width: 4.2 cm. Inhabits swamps and mangroves and burrows in muddy ground (Ref. 435).
