Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 60 - 370 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean.
Diagnosis:  Longitudinal muscle band: 24-30 (commonly 27-29). Unattached nephridia. Brain: without digitate processes. Elongate papillae: extends from longitudinal epidermal canals to the middle third part of the body.
Biology:  Neritic to oceanic (Ref. 1840); shelf to upper slope (Ref. 19).
