Environment:  pelagic; marine
Distribution:  Mediterranean Sea.
Diagnosis:  In naked eye, this species is seen thallus masses having a coloration of yellowish green; also its filaments is documented to mix with other species. Its color varies depending on the intensity of sunlight (Ref. 87937).
Biology:  Found in upper infralittoral and mediolittoral zones (Ref. 87937).
