Distribution:  Caribbean.
Diagnosis:  Thinly encrusting. Smooth surface. Black to gray in situ; greenish in alcohol. Skeleton: dendritic, in bundles of 10 to 20 megascleres rising individually from the substrate and dividing dichotomously. Spicule bundles, not forming a separate ectosomal skeleton, spread to carry the surface membrane which carries numerous scattered microscleres (Ref. 83467).
