Max. size:  0.5 cm COLD (male/unsexed)
Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 0 - 30 m
Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean: Red Sea, Gulf of Aden and Somalia Coastal Current.
Diagnosis:  Colonies have thin, irregular anastomosing branches with blunt ends. Corallites are prominent, almost tubular with well developed hoods, which give the branches a spiny appearance. Usually cream or pink sometimes greenish.
