Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Pursuit diving; warm, clear, epipelagic water offshore; <100 km, feeding grounds in the California Current. Feeds on small pelagic fish, icthyoplankton such as juvenile pelagic and rock fish and small crustaceans (Ref. 126340).
