Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Pacific and Arctic Oceans: Alaska, Japan and USA.
Diagnosis:  Tiny species, trunk only about 2 mm long, circular in dorsal aspect, lateral processes contiguous with cephalic segment extending slightly beyond circle, ocular tubercle a low cone. Proboscis long, tapering to rounded mouth. Chelifore scapes short, chelae atrophied. Palps very short, 7-segmented. Legs short, robust, with heavily setose integument, femora inflated, larger in females than males. Male second coxae with ventrodistal sexual spur and femora with dorsodistal tubercle. Ovigers and terminal leg segments typical for genus (Ref. 2153, p. 14).
