Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic and Southeast Pacific: Argentina and Chile.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Contact to this species may causes dermatitis (Ref. 87801). This species is found on rocky substrates at depths of 10 to 31 m. It is sometimes associated with Desmophyllum dianthus and bryozoans (Ref. 87801).
