Max. size:  0.54 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  host; marine
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific, Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Subtropical.
Diagnosis:  Length: 0.09 - 0.54 cm; cysts in the heart of a gray angelfish were 0.0218 cm; and the encysted worms were 0.0188 cm. Minuscule to tiny fluke has relatively large; distinctive; tentacle-like papillae surrounding the oral sucker. Muscular folds: visible in the sides of the neck. Ventral sucker: large and occupies more than 1/2 of the body width (Ref. 359).
