Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish; marine; depth range - 1 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic and Africa Inland Waters.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in coastal marine waters, rivers, and estuaries. Feeds on aquatic vascular plants, mangrove leaves or plants, clams, small fish (Ref. 1394).
