Distribution:  Atlantic, Arctic, Pacific Oceans and the Mediterranean: Spain, Germany, Canada and USA. Subtropical to polar.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Attached species (Ref. 3123). Found in coastal areas of eastern Greenland and Iceland (Ref. 64386).
