Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 40 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Corallites are small, with a rough coenosteum which gives the skeleton a fuzzy appearance. The small colonies are in circular plates, raised on centrally attached stalks like mushrooms.
