Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 30 m
Distribution:  Northwest Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum length of its synonym Batillus cornutus from Ref. 81863. Found in intertidal to 40 m, on rocks (Ref. 75835). Sublittoral macroalgal grazer. Exhibits diurnal rhythm, feeds more actively at night (Ref. 114778).
