Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 5 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  One of the most frequently collected Turbinidae in the area, mainly for food. Shell also used as material for making buttons (Ref. 349).
