Distribution:  Western Pacific and Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth based on occurrence (Ref. 107830); to be replaced with a better reference. Known from rocky bottoms (Ref. 83919). Also on dead corals (Ref. 107830). In Belize, it was found in a submarine cave near Columbus Cay (Ref. 87209).
