Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Abundant in rocky bottom biocenoses (where most of their hosts thrive). Found attached to the periproct of a host to reach its less protected soft parts (Ref. 96538). Known from seamounts and knolls (Ref. 3477).
