Max. size:  27.5 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 20 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Restricted to the Southeast Asian region.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Shell used as decorative items, or as scoops for salt, sugar and flour in the local markets. Also traditionally utilized by the native fishermen to bail out their boats (Ref. 349).
