Distribution:  Southern Atlantic and Southeast Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found from intertidal areas to a depth of 55 meters, on wood, in submerged tree trunks, pilings or even boring into ships. It has a free-living larva (Ref. 87801).
