Distribution:  Pacific Ocean: Chile and New Zealand. Both subtropical and temperate.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This is an attached species, observed to be epizoic on other hydroids, Symplectoscyphys spp., Synthecium protectum, Lafoea dumosa at depths of 12 to 28 m (Ref. 87801).
