Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, Western Atlantic and the Mediterranean. Tropical and subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in terrigenous coastal muds (Ref. 2780). Tubiculous (Ref. 112705). Both a suspension feeder and deposit feeder (Ref. 108294). Discretely motile and tentaculate (Ref. 125872).
