Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 114679. Found both on marine and land (Ref. 99823). Inhabits intertidal mud flats. Occasionally builds cylindrical mud chimney surrounding its burrow entrance (Ref. 104820). Exhibits vertical claw-waving (Ref. 104881).
