Family:  Scyllaridae (slipper lobsters)
Max. size:  32 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 5 - 300 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: West Africa from Senegal to Angola.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth range from Ref. 122059. Occurs mostly in depths between 5 and 70 m, but also reported from deeper waters (beyond 200 m); on substrates of sand and rock, sometimes on mud (Ref. 4).
