Bell is cube shaped, with rounded edges. Lateral side of the bell is rectangular. Height 7 m; 8 m breadth. Surface of bell is smooth, the frenulae re 4 and bracket like. 5 tentacles are present on each pedalium. Side pillars are strong. Jelly is thick and cartilaginous. Stings may be severe. |

Inhabits sandy bottoms and shallow waters. The occurrence is mostly seasonal, during summer. Color of the species is translucent like crystal with a very soft bluish hue, the inner organs are whitish-yellow and rhopalia only show a brownish yellow pigment. |
