Country info:  Type locality, Punta Paitilla, intertidal area toward low-water mark, lava-flow substrate, tidepool with coarse sand bottom, 0.5 m, USNM 137912 (holotype of Ambidexter swifti, 0.3 cm CL, 1.3 cm TL, male) (Ref. 79679). Collected from tidepools at Punta Paitilla and Venado Beach in Bay of Panama. C: Ref. 79679; O: Ref. 79679.
