Max. size:  9 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 25 - 166 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: from Indonesia to Polynesia; north to Japan and south to southern Queensland.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Also found on the continental shelf (Ref. 349). Feed on echinoderms, particularly ophiuroids (Ref. 128693).
