Colonies are usually grey and uniform in color with sturdy fused branches. Corallites are deeply excavated with a coarse coenosteum. Tentacles are extended during the day. |
Common in shallow water in Bocas del Torro, Panama (Ref. 415). In Belize, it was found in a submarine cave near Columbus Cay at a depth of 10 m (Ref. 87209). |
