Family:  Dromiidae (sponge crabs)
Max. size:  1.3 cm CW (male/unsexed); 0.92 cm CW (female)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 20 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Inhabits intertidal rocky shores and reefs, but are commonly found under stones and among boulders in mid-littoral zone. Carries pieces of sponge or compound ascidians for camouflage (Ref. 3175).
