Comments | Jo O'Keefe has degrees in English and Child Development. However, for 15 years she has owned property on the coast of the SE US. For the last six years she has lived in Brunswick County, NC, and searched for and photographed marine animals. Her photos are used both nationally and internationally. Because of agencies' interest in the animals, she began to collect them for aquaria in North and South Carolina. While initially she focused on invertebrates, now she includes worms, injured, dead and threatened coastal birds, and threatened plants. | |
