Comments My main research experiences and interests are on Ichthyophauna taxonomy, ecology and reproductive biology. I am currently involved in a project on the relationship between fish community and Mediterranean Red Gorgonians (Paramuricea clavata). During my studies I developed moreover a keen interest in topic such as: sustainable use of marine biological resources, marine ecology, Marine Protected Area management and conservation. Most of the researches I conducted were in fact on subjects as: monitoring coral reef and reef fish communities, coastal fish ecology, fishery management and ecosystem modeling, artificial impact on coastal ecosystems. Moreover when I obtained my Master Degree in Marine Biology I started to work occasionally with schools as Environmental lecturer and with municipalities doing underwater photo and video reportage and bionomic maps with census of marine life. Starting from 2008 I realized nine Marine Biology photo and video expositions. The aim was to share the beauty hidden under the sea surface in order to raise awareness on the biodiversity in Mediterranean Sea, its importance and the main challenges it faces due to unsustainable use of marine biological resources.
