Experienced for over 13 years in the taxonomy of Marine Sponges and Octocorals along with areas of Marine Biodiversity, Ecology and Biogeography studies along the Indian coast (including Lakshadweep islands), Oman coast, selected islands of Maldives and Thailand using SCUBA. Served as Marine Scientist in various projects funded by National and International Organizations through NGOs and as lecturer in Marine Biology, Oceanography and Biotechnology subjects to B.Tech, M.Sc., M.Phil scholars in India and Maldives
Current works involve:
Eco-Assessment studies on Coral Reefs and Identification of Marine Invertebrates, Reef Fishes, Turtles and Mangroves; Various Marine Conservation projects on Marine Parks and Marine Protected Area; Coral establishment through design and implementation of Artificial Reefs; Seawater and Sediment analysis studies; Preparation of Project Proposals, Project Management, Review Meetings, Presentations, Paper Publications and Progress Reports. |
