He is currently a PhD fellow at Nord University, where his research focuses on the changes in body size of aquatic ectotherms across environmental gradients, including temperature and dissolved oxygen, in global oceans. This is relevant, as oceans are expected to warm and deoxygenate concurrent with anthropogenic climate change. His research also focuses on how species shift in geographic distribution with warming, and further, how such changes in body size and geographic distribution may impact marine food webs. He contributes photos to SeaLifeBase. |
