A taxonomist and biologist on polychates. She obtained her PhD on Ecology and Sustainable Development in El Colegio de la Frontera Sur (ECOSUR), Mexico. For her graduate thesis, she revised Chone Krøyer, 1856 (Polychaeta: Sabellidae). Laboratory skills includes identification of marine polychaetes since 1998, taxonomic and systematic work on polychaetes associated to dead coral, taxonomic and systematic work on soft-bottom fan worms and working knowledge of histology and electron microscopy. Her general field work experience since 1998 is with various remote and diver operated sediment and water sampling methods. She is our expert in Family Sabellids in the Caribbean region. |
