| Comments | A marine and fisheries biologist with more than 25 years of professional experience in Atlantic, Caribbean and Indo-Pacific coral reefs, African Great Lakes and European estuaries studying organisms, ecological processes, and impacts of human activities on aquatic ecosystems. Dr. Bos has studied life-histories and population dynamics of dominant sea stars such as Acanthaster planci (Crown-of-Thorns Sea Star), Protoreaster nodosus, and Archaster typicus in the Philippines and the sand dollar Echinodiscus bisperforatus in the Red Sea.
