Comments: Known from the east coast of Mexico from Tamaulipas to Quintana Roo (Ref. 8) and Dry Tortugas to Isla Mujeres (Ref. 75620). Intensively fished in the Tortugas area and the Gulf of Campeche (Ref. 8).
