Definition of Term

electrosensing
(English) The ability of some fish to detect, e.g., prey organisms by sensing the weak electric field that surrounds these. (See also: electrogenic fishes)
électro-détection
(French) La capacité de quelques poissons de détecter, par exemple, des organismes proies par le faible champ électrique qui entoure ceux-ci. (See also: electrogenic fishes)
percepção eléctrica
