:
Shell completely internal. Dorsal pouch is located between the external mantle and the shell, connected with a mantle cavity by a postero-dorsal extension of the infrabranchial cavity. Foot and byssus well-developed. The anterior adductor is located on the anterior ventral side. A large pedal opening with a snout posterior valve form an inhalant siphon; a small exhalant opening exists. Delicate gill is formed by the inner demibranch; homorhabdic and fused on the ventral side of the body (Ref. 89404).
