Life cycle and mating behavior
Maturity | Reproduction | Spawning | Eggs | Fecundity | Larvae
Only plurilocular sporocysts have been observed in the wild. Develops from surface cells which after growing into cylindrical filaments, divide once or twice longitudinally and 5 to 7 times transversely. Paraphyses are wanting. Unilocular sporocysts have not been found, thus, a complete life cycle is unknown (Ref. 26875).
