Spherical to sub-spherical up to 10 cm in diameter, yellow to gray externally, lighter internally. Surface strongly hispid or furry. Porocalices abundant up to 0.3 cm wide. Oscules rare, 0.2 - 0.3 cm wide. Soft and compressible (Ref. 415).
