Epithecal wall and corallite covered with purple tissue. Tentacles translucent yellow. Colony phaceloid, with each long corallite having its own wall. Corallites are formed by extratentacular budding.
Depth based from holotype (Ref. 128448); to be replaced with a better reference. Found in exposed sites with moderate current. On rocky substrate (Ref. 128448).
