Found among seaweeds near low tide mark (Ref. 907), from intertidal to a depth of 55 meters (Ref. 116516), on growth on rocks and piers (Ref. 966), and under stones near lo water mark among algae and corallines (Ref. 3219).

Members of the phylum Nemertea are mostly gonochoric. Life cycle: Eggs hatch and develop into short-lived lecitotrophic larvae before metamorphosing into juveniles and further into adults.
