| Remarks | Rookeries are found on Cape Palliser at the southern tip of North Island, along the west coast of South Island from Farewell Spit south around Ruapuke Island on the south coast, and on Stewart Island Solander Island, The Snares, Auckland Islands, Campbell Island, Antipodes Island, Bounty Island, and Chatham Island (Ref. 1522).
